Contact Lens

Contact Lenses can be a great way to correct your eyesight.

There are contact lenses now to correct myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), astigmatism (vision with shadowed lettering), presbyopia (when near vision begins to fade), keratoconus (irregular shaped cornea), and many other eye conditions.

So whether you need single vision, toric, multifocal, or some other specialty contact lens, Dr. Whipple can fit and prescribe all types of contact lenses. One of the most exciting types of contact lenses is orthokeratology retainer lenses. Theses lenses are FDA approved to be worn at night and correct your eyesight so you don’t need glasses or contact lenses during the day! They also slow the progression of nearsightedness, so your prescription does not keep going up. Please see the Orthokeratology page for more information.

We can supply contact lenses in all types of materials including soft, rigid gas permeable, silicone hydrogel, and hydrogel. With a current contact lens prescription you can also order your lenses from the link on this page. Please call our office located just north of highway 60 on Gilbert Rd in Mesa, Arizona if you have any questions.
